# Balázs interview in Hungarian PC Guru 1998/04 (English translation) Many of you are probably familiar with this great hungarian game, as I saw a lot of people in the recently organized "Flag" party [LAN?] play with this program. For those who don't yet know this game, but want to try it out, check out the CD. It is an arcade game, where the goal is to reach the goal, the flower emblem, after collecting the apples (checkpoint) on the levels, naturally in the fastest time possible. The racers achieving the best times (just like in a real race) will get on the "best times" (x.rec) top list, the state of which can be checked on the Action SuperCross website. The control of the crossmotor was handled very creatively by the author (arrows + Space), and the menu is very practical. I also enjoyed the movement of the bike, and the wheels made the game very authentic. The creator of the program, Balázs Rózsa, writes about the game: "As I am a programmer, and I play games on my computer, sometimes I feel like writing smaller games. A few years ago, it occurred to me that it would be nice to have a game, where you can maneuver on a field with a motorcyclist, in which the focus would be on the interaction between the biker and the field. I had not known about such a game by that point. Thus, I made a wireframe model and played around with it. It was quite playable, and my acquaintances liked it as well, so I decided to make a releasable version out of it. So far, the game has been out for around a year in shareware form, and I've been getting a lot of positive feedback. Many people wrote that they would like to create their own levels for it, so I'm working on a built-in level editor. This version will be ready in around one or two months." I would like to add, that this is one of the few Hungarian creations, that perhaps we Hungarians can be proud of.
